Since I’ve been here I hadn’t been to Salt Spring and their famous market so I decided to go on a perfect summer day.

I left Victoria in the morning and took the ferry, the ride is around 30 minutes and it cost 12 dollars round trip as a foot passenger and once there, if you are not bringing a car there is a local bus that takes you to Ganges or you can ride your bike.

The view on the ride is nice as everything on the west coast.

My first stop was the famous farmers market which takes places every Saturday in downtown Ganges from Abril to October. You can find food vendors, crafts, and music.

I stayed at the Curious Crow bed and breakfast, which is clean and the host help you in every way they can, I highly recommend staying there, it is just 7 minutes’ drive from downtown Ganges marina.

I had a nice and relaxing weekend, people in Salt Spring are so nice and life there looks calm and quiet, if you are close don’t miss Salt Spring, is a magical and beautiful place.
